Just what my skin needed!
Posted by Julie on 22nd Mar 2019
Although I have always gently exfoliated my dry, sensitive, (and now) mature skin on a regular basis and have used natural, nourishing, chemical-free products for many years, it was looking tired, dull, and dry here at the end of winter. Using these gentle grains as a mask/scrub has been just what my skin needed to look brighter and smoother (in texture and complexion). Maybe it's just me, but I think the sun/age spots have faded a little, too! A couple of times per week, I mix a spoonful of grains with an equal amount of local, raw honey and apply as a mask to my clean face & neck about 15 minutes before I get into the shower. Once in the shower, I gently massage the grains over the applied area, then rinse. Afterwards, my skin soaks up my moisturizer like a sponge, and I am left with hydrated, smooth, bright skin! The smell is an added bonus - a natural, gentle "herby" smell that does not cause any problems whatsoever with my scent sensitivities. I am a very satisfied customer!
Smell reminds me of chicken soup

Just got this and have only used twice (mixed with a little water) and given I am sensitive to smell but it is like bathing your face in dried chicken soup! The chicken soup smell lingers too. I can't even say how it actually works because the most striking thing is the yucky smell.

After one use, my skin looks brighter and feels soft. I just mixed it with water.
