PowderColors Eye Shadow - SAMPLE

Item #pcsmcsam

Product Description

All mineral make-up is not created equal. Sure, mineral make-up is fun, easy to use, and allows you create stunning looks ranging from natural to glamorous, but what makes PowderColorsTM different?

  1. PowderColorsTMis a blend of pure, uncoated mineral pigments and oxidized mica, free from unnecessary fillers and preservatives.
    Gluten free; Vegan.
  2. The popular department store brands contain talc and bismuth oxychloride - cheap fillers that can wreak havoc on your skin. Bismuth oxychloride is a synthetically-produced metal that can get into pores and cause irritation.
  3. PowderColorsTMis totally vegan! It does not contain dyes, lakes, carmine, FD&C colors, fragrance, talc, bismuth oxychloride, parabens, petroleum derivatives or dimethicone.
  4. Portability. Decide what colors you want to wear for the day, twist the little pots together and all your color is in one convenient place. What could be easier? No more fumbling around your handbag for your shadow, eye liner, blush...
  5. Price. Why do all these other companies make their products so expensive?? At Honeybee Gardens, we believe natural, healthy body care and cosmetics should be affordable. We're not rich and we want good products. Solution: make them ourselves and share the love with the world!
  6. We have something for everyone. Our shades range from ultra-mattes to shimmery and sparkly. From very neutral beige Chai to check-me-out turquoise Castaway.
  7. Versatility. These beautiful loose powders can be used as eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, and even mixed with our Clear WaterColors Nail Enamel to create custom polish colors! See Directions.

Eye Liner
Dip a fine brush into water, shake off excess and then dip the wetted brush into the color of your choice. Deep colors like Passage to India work best. Mix the powder and water on the back of your hand or the jar's lid to create a creamy liquid liner. Apply near the lash line of either the upper or lower lid (or both).
Lip Color
Dip your brush into a clear lip gloss, and then into the PowderColorsTM of your choice. Mix the powder and gloss together in a separate container to create a custom gloss color. Add more powder to deepen the color. Apply to lips.
Nail Polish
What could be more cool than creating your own custom nail polish color? Dip our Clear WaterColors Nail Enamel brush into the color of your choice and apply directly to the nail. Brush over the nail a few times to smooth out and disperse the pigment. Be sure to clean the brush between dippings so as not to color your bottle of clear polish (so you can use another color next time!) Finish with a top coat of Clear to seal in color.

  1. LOVE this! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Dec 2017

I ordered Chai. I absolutely love it! I wore it to an event and when I came home it was still on nicely and I did not use a primer. The product is soft and goes on very well. The color is matte and exactly as described. I have medium/neutral ( yellow undertones ) skin tone and black hair with hazel eyes. The color really made my eyes pop and did not make me look like I was tired or had a black eye as many brownish colors do. It looked natural. The sample is generous, for sure! I have had more than 3 applications so far... Still got more! ( tip, pour just a tiny bit onto a clean dish-- a little goes a long way! )

  2. Great way to try out colors, use sparingly 5 Star Review

Posted by on 7th Oct 2017

I love the ability to sample colors for a low price and low shipping. Just need to remember to get excess off brush before applying. For example, I tried Passage to India and found it too dark on the first lid... but then used the remainder on the other and it was *perfect* on my medium skin. In fact, that is going to be my go-to neutral all-over lid shade. The Wicked was too sparkly for me, and the Chai too light to show but probably great on someone with fairer skin.

  3. Pretty Martini! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Sep 2017

Like many others, I was unsure of the colors (computer monitors are tricky when it comes to make-up colors), and I really liked the idea of ordering samples. I was not disappointed! Martini was a nice, shimmery color that worked great as a shadow and a liner accent, plus it gave me several uses! I will definitely be trying more. :o)

  4. Moon Dust 5 Star Review

Beautiful color and sparkles! love that it's natural!

  5. Great for sensitive skin! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Feb 2017

I developed dematitis on my eyelids 2 years ago. I am a make up artist and it was devastating not to be able to wear eye make up. This has been the ONLY eye shadow I have found that blends beautifully and does not cause me to break out in a painful rash. Thanks Honeybee Gardens!!

  7. Castaway! So beautiful! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Jun 2016

I have become completely convinced that i do not always have to stick to a certain color "Rule" i don't have to play by the rules. With Honeybee Gardens, i can wear a warm eye shadow, a cool pinkish blush, and a red lipstick All Honeybee of course! I will never use another brand. Sincerely, Gina Bird

  8. What a sweet color "Princess" 5 Star Review

Gorgeous color for day and play, add another one on for night time fun! I feel like a Princess when I wear this and it goes with all of my other colors! Sincerely, Gina Bird

  9. Loving Gypsy and Wicked! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th May 2016

I absolutely love the color of wicked! It goes on lighter than it looked in the picture but you can build the color with layering if you want. It's a smooth grey with just a hint of blue and goes great with my brown eyes!

Gypsy is also less intense than it looks in the picture, but I don't consider this a bad thing. It lets you choose how intense you want it to be. Again, works well with brown eyes and looks great with earth tones.

  10. Spellbound is Compelling! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Apr 2016

I love this shade. As I have noticed with the Powder Colors is; while you are working with it, it learns to work with you! Same with the pressed. The coverage is completely in your control. You can feel the loving and good, healing energy with every product and it is a favorite to add to my other favorites! With so many choices, beautiful colors, and great prices what's a girl to do? Keep buying, keep trying, and never allow yourself to run out! I just love Spellbound. A beautiful smokey plum color that goes beautiful with any eye color. Mine happen to be green and this color really brings them out! Sincerely, Gina Bird
