Here are some tips for sharpening your pencils

1. Never press the pencil into the sharpener. Place the tip gently into the sharpener and twist, allowing the blade to do all the work. The Effortless Eye Liner is a bit softer than most eye liner formulas, allowing it to glide easily on the skin without pulling the delicate tissue. Therefore, more care needs to be taken when sharpening.
2. Never sharpen to a sharp point.
3. Always make sure you twist 360 degrees, and only do this once. Check the pencil. If it is not sharp enough, twist 360 degrees again. This ensures an even tip.
4. Use a good, sharp sharpener. Ours works great!

TIPS FOR USING YOUR PRO-TIP:

• Always store your eye liner with the tip facing down.  
• Shake gently before using.
• If the tip feels dry, wet a tissue or paper towel and rub the tip of the pen over the wet area.  This should help to rehydrate the felt tip.
• Keep the tip clean.  If you're using the liner on top of shadow regularly, that powder can gunk up the felt tip.  Use a wet paper towel to clean the tip.
