I used this sample over tinted sunscreen. It brought down the shine and left a nice glow. It applied like silk and erased some redness and minimized pores around my nose. It looked silky on my mature skin. It is a beautiful foundation.

Mineral Powder Foundation?
This powder goes on very smoothly AND stays smooth all day. It does not settle into lines or look cakey. My skin really looks better and feels better when I wear this. I can wear it alone if I’m in a hurry or I use the liquid foundation from Honeybee with it. Lighter coverage vs fuller coverage and my skin looks good either way. Love their products! And great customer service!
Pressed Mineral Powder Foundation, single samples.
I really can't believe how well this works! I'ts easy to apply from the sample baggie. Just dip a small powder foundation brush in, tap the excess off and apply. Again, the sample guides were true to the color you get. It's a non-cakey foundation and you can't beat the price!
Lovely, but dry
The color is beautiful. It goes on yellow, but changes to match my skin. The powder is fine, and looks beautiful when applied. My only complaint is it made my skin feel dry all day. I live in the second driest state in the US, so even though I have oily skin, this was not a good match for me. Highly recommend the product, especially to ladies under 30 in humid climates.
Powder foundation sample review
I wish there was a faster and easier way to know your shade. From the website guidance I thought I would be either the Avalon shade or supernatural. Both of these turned out to be too pale on my skin. I ended up ordering luminous (from Amazon for free shipping) and it has been perfect!
Luxurious Powder Foundation!
LOVE this powder foundation. It goes on silky smooth, with a velvety feel. It does not have a heavy "dry" feel at all. On my skin, most powder foundations have a drying affect on my face, looking cakey, unblended, and settles into my fine lines, making me look older than I am - NOT this one!!! I think it would be awesome for any skin type. I am extremely happy, more than satisfied with my samples!!
BEST eyeshadow!
I bought samples of both types of eyeshadows and love them all. They are beautiful, blend easily, are true to color, and don't gather in the crease, or look heavy and cakey. They have a wonderful assortment of colors, and I bought a bunch of different samples and glad I did. I have very sensitive eyes and this eyeshadow in non-irritating to my eyes, which had me sold immediately! You need to try this eye shadow - I think you will love it, too!
Mineral foundation individual color samples
Being able to buy the individual color samples was very helpful and affordable. Excellent communication & shipping protocol from Honeybee Gardens. I was able to determine the best color for me.
color errors
It has a nice texture but I got 2 samples that I couldn't wear, the colors didn't appear the way they looked on the screen. This may be the fault of the way the computer profile interprets colors though. All of the other products I am thrilled with, especially the nail polishes.
So much easier than in store shopping
I loved that the samples were $.50 each. I chose several colors that I thought would work for me and was able to use my bathroom lights to choose the right color without shopping with foundation stripes on my chin. And there is enough in the sample to try it out a couple of days!
Not my thing
I tried the mineral foundations. They have a good texture, but unfortunately, I could not find my color. Everything seemed to have an orange tint.
Lightweight, big impact
I had a lot of fun trying these samples out, and finding the right color for me. Im using the powder as setting powder, and have been impressed with how well it keeps my "shine" down during the day. Not cakey at all!
Perfect for my face
I have been looking for the perfect foundation for my face for year that didn't leave acne when I washed it off. Guess what I just found it and so did you. This is it and I am so glad I tried this product.
Really like this!
I always liked this foundation but it would never really covered red spots. I was reading reviews because I found that liquid foundation emphasized lines and pores and wanted to switch to mineral foundation. While reading reviews I found out that by using a small brush and concentrating a small amount on to red areas this product can be used as a concealer also! I'm thrilled that this works and I'm loving this foundation now! Love thst it's vegan!!
Sheer to Light coverage
This would be a great setting powder, but not enough coverage for me. It was very powdery (at least in the sample), and very sheer. You may be able to build the coverage, but I am looking for something quicker in the morning!

I like it but for me as an older woman it is a little drying for my skin type i would prefer a liquid.

I purchased the Luminous Mineral Powder sample and it was perfect. Wonderful texture and beautiful colour. Definitely will order the full size.
Impressed
I was honestly not expecting to like this product so much...after trying the sample size, however, I think I'm a convert from liquid foundation to this very light, natural looking powder foundation! I tried both the Supernatural and Malibu...the Malibu is a perfect match for my light olive skin and I am using the Supernatural for light highlighting. It feels amazingly light and looks freshly applied even hours later. I'm so impressed and pleasantly surprised, as I never thought I would switch to a powder foundation!

I purchased all the shades of the foundation as well as the lush to see which matched the best. Let me tell you they did not break me out what so ever!!! I will be making a full purchase!
Review of mineral powder sample.
The mineral powder went on smoothly and felt very nice on the skin. The samples really helped me choose the correct shade as I might have thought I needed a lighter colored shade than what I actually did need.

BETTER THAN I THOUGHT
I usually use liquid foundation, so I was a little hesitant to use this, but it goes on really nice and stays well into the day.
Excellent Color!
I tried three different colors. I have medium skin tone with olive undertones. Malibu was the one I found to be just perfect. I did not need to lighten or darken it at all. I did not break out, get irritated or anything. Love it!
Luminous-Sultana
I got 5 of the shades offered and I'm still deciding among Malibu, Montego and Sultana. Sundance seemed too yellowish tan for my skin and Luminous made me look like a ghost. Idk whether to go a little lighter (Malibu is a little lighter than matte foundation I wear now) or darker though since it is winter.
FINALLY GOT IT
After trying three samples I found my shade! Supernatural is the one for me! I will be ordering a full size soon. This foundation is awesome!
THE BEST FOUNDATION!!
This is the best foundation I have ever tried. I have very sensitive skin and I like that I can test it before buying the full size. They are also great for color matching. I am thinking about the Supernatural or Avignon.
Foundation Sample
I was impressed with the coverage from the mineral powder foundation. I normally use liquid foundation and then a powder foundation. The mineral powder foundation provided smooth coverage and even covered my age spots!

Love this foundation
I've used a different mineral powder foundation for 15 years, but have recently changed my lifestyle in what I eat and what I put on my body. I love the staying power of this foundation, and that I know and can pronounce all the ingredients. While I did order the samples online, I ended up purchasing the full size foundation and case from a local store to support small business.

Just AWESOME
I am so impressed with the mineral powder foundation. I got the sample, tried it once and placed an order for the full-size compact the same day. It is the first mineral powder that I've tried that works with my very dry, sensitive skin! It gives a translucent coverage, makes my skin look radiant, but DOES NOT make me look older by caking, settling in the creases or drying out my skin more. I've tried so many powders in the past...I never thought I'd find one that works for my skin. WELL... here it is!!! I'm absolutely delighted! This will be by go-to powder and I will definitely be purchasing over and over again.

I love this product! Order some samples and fell in love with the Luminous color and the lightweight coverage. I feel very good putting this on my face knowing it's free of chemicals.

I ordered three samples thinking I would need to blend to get the right color. One of the samples turned out to be a perfect match for my skin tone so I only need to order one. The samples are enough for a couple of applications to know exactly what to buy. Love this option and love the make up. Smooth light coverage that doesn't settle into lines like other brands I have tried.
Long Lasting
I'm so glad to finally have found a cruelty-free, talc-free and affordable eyeshadow! My skin is aging (50 y.o.) and the matte finish went on smoothly, stayed all day and didn't age my eyelids any more than they've already aged. I will be ordering full size product.

Surprising!
I've used mineral foundations in the past and didn't like them- they looked powdery and settled in lines and pores. This one doesn't. I was very surprised at how nice it looks. The only drawback is that it feels a little bit drying. Honeybee, how about a line of skincare , especially a good moisturizer for mature skins?

I absolutely love that Honeybee offers the opportunity to purchase samples of their powder foundation at such a reasonable price.
I was able to correctly identify the color that best matched me, and am impressed with the staying power and natural look. The coverage was light on me, but evened my skin tone, which is what I wanted.

I'm very happy to have gotten samples of this product before buying full-sizes. The amount is perfect. I recommend that you dump out the loose powder into a small bowl or plate before applying...just makes it easier to get to. This foundation is very finely milled so it gives a very smooth finish. Coverage is medium, perfect for evening out subtle broken caps or light redness issues. It might not cover darker sun spots, freckles, or darker acne scars...may need concealer in those areas. As far as a color match to my medium-tan skin, I went with Montego, although very slightly darker than I would like, it was the closest match. I like to use Malibu in the dark inner-corners of my eyes for brightening effect. Malibu is too light to use all over my face but great for contouring. Thank you Honeybee Gardens for providing samples. I just found my new foundation!

I am so happy to have found this product line of chemical-free makeup. I have been on the hunt for a mineral foundation and I have found it in Malibu. I am so thrilled with how light it is, and how it stays on all day. I am happy that I am not doing any damage to my skin or that chemicals are seeping into my body from this. I am fairly light skinned, but found that Malibu was just right-- I thought for sure Luminous was going to be my colour. Don't be afraid to try a darker sample if you're still debating on choosing the right one for your tone.

I tried this because of the natural ingredients and because the cost is significantly lower than the product that I am currently using. To my surprise, I love it even more so than the more expensive stuff! It makes my skin appear flawless. I wear it by its self and feel its coverage is perfect.

So, I've tried multiple other powder foundations.. you can't beat the quality for the price of this one. Covers well, and no dry itchy skin like some other mineral foundations.
Nice product, light coverage
I really liked both shades that I sampled, but they were too translucent for me. I don't have scars or major blemishes, but I didn't think it evened my skin tone as much as I'd like. That being said, I am considering this for a finishing powder over a liquid foundation.

I am enjoying this mineral powder! Most days it is all I need with a little mascara!
With spots or blemishes, I use cover up only on them and use powder all over. It goes on light but blends out to look very natural all day.

Enjoyable to wear
The colors were all very nice (I ordered three different ones to chose the best). Each worked well with my skin color. If you have clear skin, the coverage is just enough. It takes away shine and evens out tiny imperfections. However, it is not good for coverage of heavy acne. My skin did not feel grimy or dirty at the end of the day, and it was easy to remove.
A very natural foundation
I tried the Supernatural color of the powder foundation sample. I am 61 years old and tend to have dry skin. However, this foundation went on well and gave my complexion a very soft, natural look. I put my moisturizer on first and then the powder foundation. People are surprised when I tell them that I am over 60. :o)
