Art:

The cover of this palette is an art piece called Resilience by a talented female artist from Texas, Jennifer Reaves of Ethereal Art.  I came across Jennifer's work while looking for a female artist to feature (as we did on our single and duo refillable eye shadow palettes).  This particular piece jumped out at me.  The intensity of emotion, the brilliant use of color...I had to know more.  I reached out to Jennifer and she told me the very personal story of this piece at a time in her life that was a major spiritual awakening and call for transformation.  In her own words: "Resilience is the woman who has gone through so much turmoil, pain, and heartache; getting knocked down 9 times and getting up 10, only to discover herself again. She has learned to transmute all of her negative emotions into a burst of healing love and positive energy. It is her in her raw emotion, independent of any oppression, empowered by her own strength, and knowledge that despite the injustices she has faced, those will not stop her from helping and being present for others. Resilience is empowerment, faith in self, breaking cycles, ending karmic lessons, and believing in love no matter how much her heart has been broken. It is learning to laugh in the face of adversity and breaking out of scarcity mindset. This painting is the one I've poured my heart, soul, past, present, and future into, and I hope with all of my being that it speaks to everyone who has experienced any heartache, of any kind."
