I'm someone who absolutely needs lip balm. As a kid, cracked painful lips were normal, and most "chapsticks" (not necessarily this main brand, but using it as a term for the popular ones easily found in most stores) were inadequate (and some eventually caused their own irritation, especially if they tended to leave buildup). I spent years searching for something "adequate" and found a certain brand that seemed perfect - but I needed to re-apply it like every 20 minutes (I'M NOT KIDDING). But, at least no cracking, no pain, no bad reaction - just felt dependent. After coming across Honeybee Gardens and LOVING what products I'd tried, checked out the lip balm. It's better than the "perfect" one I had found. It goes on smooth, thinner (as in no build up - even my "perfect" one left a physical barrier) and it indeed lasts hours... I don't feel like I need to reapply every 20 minutes. The Tropical is probably my favorite of the "scents/flavors" (though strawberry is a close second) but they're all good - get the sampler and see which you like!
