Here are some tips for sharpening your pencils:
1) Never press the pencil into the sharpener. Place the tip gently into the sharpener and twist, allowing the blade to do all the work. The JobaColors Eye Liner is a bit softer than most eye liner formulas, allowing it to glide easily on the skin without pulling the delicate tissue. Therefore, more care needs to be taken when sharpening.
2) Never sharpen to a sharp point.
3) Always make sure you twist 360 degrees, and only do this once. Check the pencil. If it is not sharp enough, twist 360 degrees again. This ensures an even tip.
4) Use a good, sharp sharpener. Ours works great!
Ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, ozokerite wax, ethylhexyl palmitate (vegetarian), simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, lanolin oil, beeswax, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, cetearyl alcohol (vegetarian), copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax. I love that this doesn't irritate my eyes. I'm not sold on the pencil yet, it doesn't tug on my eyelids but still doesn't give me the smooth smudgy look of my previous eyeliner pens. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt til I can work with it more. i love how soft it is. The staying power is ok, not great, at the end of the workday i have to clean up a few dark streaks under my eyes. I think i would pair this with a primer and powder for a longer lasting look.

Goes on nicely, and stays on nicely. Best part for me is that I can wear it without allergic skin reactions. No other cosmetic products were working for me, until I found H.B Gardens! (Not even the products that are supposedly made for sensitive skin) So, I am thrilled to be able to wear makeup, again!
