Like: healthy Hate: smudges
The good:
Goes on nicely doesn’t clump. I like that it’s natural and I don’t worry about it contaminating my body with unhealthy ingredients. It washes off easily. It doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.
The bad: it smudges, and flakes under my eyes like crazy. I find I look like a raccoon before I can get to the office. Multiple times per day I have to go to the ladies room to touch up under my eyes.
Who knows how long I go around with my raccoon eyes before I get to the mirror.
And yes, I wait between my eye cream absorbing and applying my eye makeup. I even apply powder under my eyes, trying to keep it from smearing, but it just dries my skin under my eyes, and I still get the raccoon smudge. The only way I can successfully use a mascara is to apply it to my upper lashes only.
I wanted to love it, and I bought a few tubes but now I have to go back to the old drugstore brand that I could trust to stay in place.

Goes on beautifully. Wears beautifully. Comes off beautifully. I don't bother buying any other mascara because this is the best.
Wanted to love it
I followed the directions, but this mascara looks terrible on me. One coat doesn't look like much and multiple coats looks bad on my lashes. I curl my lashes before using and the curl doesn't stay (but does with other mascaras). Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I like everything else I ordered (eye liners, eyeshadow sampler) and liked the cute glass animal :)

I like that this mascara goes on easy, lengthens and adds volume, covers well and washes off easily and gently. Also like that it’s not ‘fibers’ like some of the mascaras out there. Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that it does smudge some under lower lashes and on eyelids.
Learning Curve for Me, But Still Good
This mascara took some getting used to because I'm not used to mascara taking so long to dry. That being said, the extra time (and sometimes mess because I forget to wait for it to dry) is worth it because even after all day my eyes don't get itchy and sore. My lashes look great when I wear it - long and full without being clumpy. It's doesn't flake off throughout the day. It washes off relatively easily without causing racoon eyes. If you're on the fence, I'd recommend trying it.

I have been wearing this mascara in black lace for several years. I found this when I was looking for gluten free cosmetics and I love it. I have light colored eyelashes and this brightens them up nicely. I have very sensitive skin and eyes and wear contact lenses. I have never had any reaction or problem at all. Would definitely recommend.

It's perfect! I was so scared to try another organic mascara! But this hit all the notes. No clumping, no flaking, no irritation, none drying, came off easily with face cleanser, didn't loose and eyelashes in the process, gave enough volume and length. Think natural, pretty lashes
and not big and fake. It's a silky formula and a small brush head really great for those with tiny barley there lashes.

This is the best mascara I have ever had, and I've tried a lot. It doesn't feel heavy or make my eyes water. It doesn't flake or smudge, and comes off with a damp cloth! It does take a bit longer to dry than my other mascara, but it's not a big deal and is easy to tidy up.

My new mascara
I really love this mascara! I am moving from using Tart* products that I’ve used for years to more natural organic makeup and skin care products. The mascara I was using constantly flaked; I hated it! This one is so much more natural looking and gives volume without a cakey look and it DOESN’T FLAKE!!!

Great Mascara
I was looking for a clean mascara that doesn't irritate my eyes, but also works well. I really do like this mascara. The wand is good, not too big and bulky, and works well at separating and coating my lashes. This does go on a bit wet, so can cause some smearing if you're in a hurry. I find it works best if you put on a lash conditioner first, then put the mascara on over it. It gives me the look I want, doesn't irritate my eyes, and stays on all day. A win-win for me.
Hands down the best mascara on the market
I have very long, but very straight lashes. I have tried a LOT of mascaras over the years that have promised to "make my lashes look fuller, longer, and hold their curl all day." None of them have lived up to the hype - from the cheap drugstore brands, to the VERY expensive "specialty" brands. I discovered this mascara almost two years ago now and will never use anything else! I LOVE everything about this mascara!!

Well, here is my story. I fell in love with it two years ago and I do not even touch my new boxes of blush from Mineral Fusion or Gabriel. I gave them away. But when my daughter said she had to order some blush, I whipped out a new box not opened from Honey Bee Gardens... and guess what... SHE LOVES IT. So does my Daughter in Law. Other makeup companies start changing things around and not providing the same product they use to. I know Honey Bee will always be incredible with their products and their customer service. I have been using this mascara for a few years now and I will not switch to anything else. It goes on smoothly, is just enough to darken my light eyelashes, and stays on pretty well. Washes off easily with eye makeup remover. The brush is straight and works well to get to all of my lashes top and bottom. Does not clump. Would highly recommend.
My first order from honeybeegardens
First of all, I was so excited to try out Honey Bee Gardens’ products. I received their lip gloss as a gift. It has not disappointed me in the slightest! It is so nice to have makeup that is both effective and good for you. Recently, I bought myself some of their mascara. I have yet to try it, but the customer service was amazing. I had made two accounts while trying to rectify an issue with my emails. The woman I spoke to (I am not aware of her name) was so helpful. She seemed genuinely willing to fix my problems. I was so thankful for her merging my two accounts together. On top of all this, my package arrived very quickly. Overall, I have had a very good experience with Honey Bee Gardens, and I would highly recommend their products.
NOTHING COMPARES to this Mascara.
I only can go by experience. I gave up on Mineral Fusion four or five years ago when someone bought out the company and everything seemed to change. ESP the mascara. I tried Gabriel mascara but it seems to disappear quickly in the tube and it while it does darken the lashes it is not good long term for the day. After find Honey Bee Gardens, their mascara is out of this world... it builds with ONE stroke... sometimes I do two per eye. You don't NEED to do more but you could. I was a 'runway' and 'photography' model till I was 34. Have not seen anything that is 'organic' or made carefully that works like HBG Mascara does easily building longer lashes with out building bulky mess. My DIL was amazed. I had her facial plan done for her and ordered her some products I knew she would use. She is now a customer... and it started with this fabulous mascara!!! Time for a change? You need to use HBG products.

I recently bought both the Black Lace and the Brown mascara. Both work well. It's very easy to get too much on my eyelashes so I need to watch out for that. I had been hoping to be able to purchase the black/brown Espresso that I bought last year since it covered my blue/green hazel eyes no matter what outfit or makeup I was wearing on any given day.

This Natural Mascara is Over and Above any Natural Mascara out there. I LOVE this mascara! I looked for a long time to find an affordable mascara that didn't use icky ingredients and didn't leave me with racoon eyes after a few hours. This is it! I love how gentle it is, while still making my lashes look full! If I only wear one thing on my face...it's Bellissima. I buy 2 at a time so I'm sure I never run out!

I have been using Bellissima mascara since it came out and will never go back to my old brand. It goes on easily, gives great coverage without clumps, doesn't flake off or smear, and makes my lashes look lush! It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and, the best part? It comes off easily. I actually think my lashes are much healthier because I'm not working so hard to get makeup off at the end of the day. Another great feature? We have a swimming pool and, while it's not waterproof, it just kinda disappears instead of running into raccoon eyes like my old brand. Thanks for such a great product!

This is the best mascara I've ever used. It goes on easily. It stays on without flaking all over the area under my eyes. It washes off easily without having to pull on my eye area. It looks great. It doesn't burn my eyes. My lashes look full and separated. I find the brush very easy to use, and I get less around my eye than I have with other brushes.

Love this mascara and all honeybee products
I absolutely love this mascara ! For over 15 years I couldn’t use any makeup due to allergies to products from celiac disease - I can finally use mascara again ( this one is amazing makes my eyelashes look so long and full ) and also I LOVE the eye liners and eye shadow ! I finally get to sass up and it feels fun again to dress up with make up . Honeybee gardens is amazing , truly hypoallergenic feeling ! I wish I'd have tried this sooner
I love the skinny wand. It lengthens, separates, lifts, and gives some volume. It doesn't smudge under my eyes. It's easy to remove at the end of the day. If you rub your eyes it will flake a little, but that's to be expected with any mascara. It's quickly become my favorite clean mascara.
Great daily mascara
I love the ease of applying this and it stays on well once it dries. Occasionally I apply two coats for special evenings but that is usually not necessary on a daily basis. It does not affect my contact lenses and I have sensitive eyes.

My first mascara, and I won't be back for this one lol!
I tried to learn the difficult art of mascara application (especially on my deep-set, hooded eyes) with this. It's gloopy and tends to transfer to the upper lid and undereye during the course of the day. The applicator is very large, but that suits some people I suppose. Finally the wand detached from the cap and I took that as my cue to try my Maybelline Lash Sensational ("full fan effect"), which I'd already purchased as a backup. What a difference! The Maybelline (even though it also has a really big spoolie) made mascara application seem like child's play after working with the Bellissima! And it doesn't budge through the day. It also curls and lifts my lashes without using a curler. Won't be back for this product (though I do love some other Honeybee Gardens stuff).

I have been using this mascara daily for a week. So far, I love it. One coat is enough for me, although you can add more, of course. It lengthens my lashes without being gooey or clumpy. I haven’t had any problem with it smearing below my eyes, as some mascaras do. It removes easily with eye makeup remover as well. I will definitely buy again.

Preferred Mascara
The product is excellent: smooth application with nicely shaped brush that applies, combs, fans lashes like you want them without getting the product over and under your lids - nice tight application. Lasts all day without racoon eyes, no flaking, smearing, sensitivity, eyelid fatigue, etc. then easy to take off at night. I use micellar water and makeup remover cloth with water and no residue exists. I'm happy with, and highly recommend, this mascara. I especially LOVE the brush as I'm 67 with hooded eyes and usually in order to coat lashes end up with marks above and below on lids. Not so with this brush!!!

This is the nicest mascara I have used. It glides on and you have total control of thickness/layers. I love the brown color, not everyone wants black. Stays on all day....the only downfall it doesn't like sweat or tears bc its all coming off. On the other hand, waterproofed mascs don't come off hardly at all and this is easy with just soap and water.

My everyday mascara
I own both colors. I use the brown everyday as I have blonde lashes and like a very minimal and natural look for everyday. I used the black for when I pull out my colorful eyeshadow. Both shades preform the same for me. I have sensitive, watery hooded eyes. This mascara doesn't transfer on my hooded eyes. I only wear it on top lashes. Doesn't transfer under my eyes. And the best part is it never bothers my eyes. I give good definition with two coats and it doesn't weigh my last just down I do curl them first.

The Bellissima Volumizing Mascara is absolutely amazing. The fact that it is a clean product makes me that much happier. The formula is great, you barely need a lot of strokes because the mascara is a dark black color, so it emphasizes the lashes as needed. Thank you Honeybee Gardens!

This is a newer product and is so much more effective from the original mascara. It's water-resistant but removes easily at night when washing my face with any cleanser.
Pleasantly Surprised Mascara
I am a new customer of honeybee gardens and I ordered the volumizing mascara. I was pleasantly surprised at it’s easy application and silky feel. I have been a user of Lancome Definicils mascara for many, many years. As I’ve aged, I added Younique Fiber Mascara for more volume and lift of my eyelashes. Best Natural Mascara I've Tried So Far!
This mascara has blown the other three brands I've tried out of the water. It goes on like a toxin-filled mascara, while still having a natural look, and I'm very pleased. I've only used it a few times, so I can't speak to how it holds up over time. As of now, though, I love it!

Great clean formula mascara, no flaking at all. It stays put all day. It separates lashes beautifully, and lengthens as well. It is a bit of a wet formula so I like to let it sit open for 5 min when I first start using it, After that its the perfect consistency. I literally have 4 backup mascaras because I don't ever want to be without it!

This is the best mascara I've ever tried! It builds up my lashes beautifully, doesn't smudge or flake, is 'clean', is cost effective, and doesn't goop up around the top of the tube. I plan on buying this as long as HBG makes it!
Great AFFORDABLE clean mascara option
It doesn't give me raccoon eyes at all, which is really my biggest beef for a clean beauty (or any) mascara product. It lasts me through the day in humid Florida, plus the price is ridiculously reasonable. Definitely worth it!

Holy Grail Mascara
This mascara is everything I want it to be. I can apply a light coat without having to scrape a bunch of extra product off the bristles, lovely natural looking lashes. It can easily be built up in layers, but I prefer the natural look a couple quick swipes of the wand give me. Washes off easily with face wash and warm water. Doesn’t seem to overly clump, the long wand makes grabbing all lashes easy. I will never buy another mascara brand ever again!
A very nice mascara!
I tend to be fussy about my mascaras, so I was happy to find that your Bellissima mascara is a good match for me. I immediately liked the packaging, brush and formula. It went on smoothly, and the black color is nice and inky-black. I experienced no clumping and was able to apply multiple coats quickly. Best of all, it wore very well, even withstanding some unexpected tears with no smudging. And it came off easily with my favorite nightly cleanser. Thanks for this good product.
Bellissima mascara
This is the best natural (non-toxic) mascara that I have ever used. It performs like a top notch mascara, because it is one. I get great volume and length in just a few swipes and it does not smudge or flake; and yet it is easy to remove. Bravo Honeybee Gardens!!
Mascara...nice and easy application
This mascara is great for everyday. It wears all day and does not smudge or flake. I'd compare this most to the Pacifica Gaze mascara, but I prefer this as it is not as wet of a formula, more easy to manage due to the smaller wand, and this mascara keeps my eyelashes curled longer. This is a great mascara for the price!
Bellissima Mascara
I really like this mascara. I had stopped wearing mascara altogether for awhile because it irritated my eyes and was often really clumpy. This stuff truly is feather-light; I don't feel like I'm wearing mascara at all, but it looks great and so far hasn't been remotely clumpy. I think I've found a keeper.
Love everything about this!
I like the smaller brush and it applies product beautifully. Also, I have no problem removing it and just use my normal facial cleanser.
One of the best mascaras I've tried
I have bought like 15 defferent natural mascaras in the past few months. I decided to try every natural mascara I came across, in my search for the best non toxic one, and I have to say this honeybee gardens volumizing formula is one of my top two that I have found. I have been wearing it every day since I got it. The problem with non toxic mascaras has always been a lack of volume due to them not having chemicals. But this honeybee mascara does give me lots of volume, the trick is to let it dry between coats, it's really non clumpy, so I do 3 or more coats this way and it really builds up. This is something I have not been able to do with any other natural mascara because usually once they dry if you keep applying more you get those crunchy ugly lashes. I will definitively buy this one again.

I have been using this myself and love it. Just purchased for my daughter and she's very picky, but says this is THE BEST mascara. It gives volume and NO clumping!!!
My favorite mascara!
I've been looking for a truly clean mascara for a long time that lived up to the hype and this one definitely does! Definitely don't forget to give it a wiggle because that's where the volume really comes in! Love this formula!
Perfect for post PRK surgery
I was very nervous to use mascara after healing from PRK eye surgery. This mascara does not flake after wearing, is not irritating and lasts all day! I love this product!
Ciao Bella!
This mascara takes my eyelashes from wall flower to “Ciao Bella” effortlessly. Cannot believe how wonderful this mascara turned out to be. Perfection! Love the super clean and nourishing ingredients. Doesn’t smudge or flake and stays put all day. Love the natural looking volume and super definition. It lengthens and amplifies even the smallest lashes the brush is super grippy and leaves perfect amount of mascara on it. Application is very easy. Love the deep black color. It’s simply perfect. Love that HBG went all the way to Italy to find this awesome formula. You knocked it out of the park with this one!
Fantastic Natural Mascara
I was a loyal HBG fan well before this product. It's the only eye makeup I own! I used to use the original HBG mascara before this. I've tried other natural brands that were just "meh", and one brand even gave me raccoon circles from smudge-off. This mascara is truly heads above anything I've used before. I love how much length and body it gives my lashes every day. It took me a couple tries to get a feel for getting the perfect application every time, but now I get effortless results. For women who are used to the Big Brand Name mascaras, you won't have a hard time switching to this product. Performance is right on par, minus being full of toxins! A lot of effort went into developing this product, and it shows. I highly recommend this product to anyone!

I love the new Bellissima volumizing mascara!! It gives the impression that I actually have long lashes!! In all my other mascaras, my lashes would start to look longer, but by the time it dried, you really couldn't see them. But, this mascara does NOT disappoint!! You must try it. : ) It is fabulous!!

Excellent coverage
Product did what was claimed--it covered all the lashes without clumping and covered base to tip with minimal smudges on eyelids. Bravo! Wish it were available in Brown also.

Love Honeybee Gardens new volumizing mascara! I was nervous to try but really wanted something natural. It doesn’t irritate my eyes and it makes my lashes nice and long pretty!
Wow...I have EYELASHES!
Not that you would know I have lashes normally...they are shortish and fine, so just disappear. This is the first mascara that truly makes me look like I have long lashes, and not just heavy mascara on them. The brush ensures that my lashes get covered from root to tip. The mascara itself is non-flaking even after a day of wearing! And best of all, it is non-toxic.
Beautiful Natural Looking Length and Definition
Gone are the days of crunchy, flaky mascara! As a contact wearer, I really appreciate the fact that this mascara remains pliable and doesn't flake if I accidental rub my eyes (because you will forget you are wearing anything with this stuff!). The application is a dream. The brush has short bristles which somehow make it easier to divide and shape the lashes. Additional coats glide on without clumping or flaking. I've never used another mascara like this one and I don't plan to use any others!

You won’t regret it
Typically, I purchase L'oréal mascara, the waterproof Feline to be exact, and I was not switching from that mascara. Ever. Until I found this one. I am trying to slowly convert my makeup collection to natural, organic makeup. I saw the reviews for this and so happy I ordered. This mascara applies so smoothly, no clumps. I usually wear heavy makeup and I like big, bold, thick lashes. This stuff is awesome. I applied two or three coats to get more of a bold look. It looks natural and feels so natural to touch. My lashes would always be extremely stiff and clumpy looking with the L’oréal brand. Not going back to that garbage. I hope someday a waterproof version of this mascara can be created- that would be amazing.

I'm ridiculously picky about my mascara, partly because of my sensitive skin and eyes and partly because many mascaras make my lashes fall out or break. I love gentle mascaras that don't clump or get stuff and clean off easily with just warm water. This mascara does all that, plus makes my lashes look longer and fuller, almost like in wearing fake lakes. I'll never switch mascara again. This is my lash BFF!
Amazing mascara
I am already a devoted Honeybee Gardens mascara user for 5+ years, and was very happy with it, but this Bellissima really impressed me (and I'm super picky, lol). The brush is phenomenal, it grabs all of my tiniest lashes in just one or two swipes and is easier to get to the roots. The formula is light, smooth, and builds up well. (I've only seen similar results from Lancome, and HBG Bellissima is a much cleaner formula without chemicals. <3) To respond to one reviewer's comment about the "fragrance" it smell like nothing when I put it on. If I sniff the tube/wand, it's a very light natural scent that to me smells almost edible and faintly of chocolate, and when it's dry I smell nothing, again. (I am very sensitive to fragrances.) I am a HUGE FAN of this mascara, and I will definitely be purchasing more!!! Thank you, Melissa!!!
Full, beautiful lashes
I have had many issues with allergies and had been unable to wear eye makeup. I was so glad I found this mascara. I have had no issues with allergies. No irritation. Just full, thick, long, beautiful lashes. No flaking and wears well all day.

I was skeptical
As a 50+ woman with thinning eyelashes I was skeptical. I have been using a duo of primer and then mascara for years to build up my lashes. I was not disappointed with the Bellissima Mascara. It is buildable for those who want a little extra :)
The best natural mascara
I absolutely love this mascara. The only negative thing at all is the fragrance which goes away when the product dries.

Luv the wand!
I was really looking forward to trying this new mascara and it lived up to its hype! It was so easy to put on - the wand maneuvers around your lashes without getting mascara all over. The first day I put it on I wore it in 85 degree humidity (no a/c) - it stayed put! It makes me think it will last in the rain, too. :o)
Great Mascara
My eyes are very sensitive and other brands of mascara were causing me a lot of discomfort. I am glad I found the Bellissima Volumizing Mascara at HoneyBee Gardens. It works really well and has not harmed my eyes at all. I will continue using it.
Just What I Was Looking For
I LOVE this mascara! I have naturally long lashes, but they're fine so it's hard to really see their oomph. I used to use a mascara that showcased my lashes, but I've been trying to switch more and more of my makeup over to natural. This has the look I used to get, and I don't have to worry about any irritation especially when I'm not so good about taking my makeup off at night.

I am super-happy about trying this mascara. I have been striking out lately as far as healthy mascaras are concerned. This one is wonderful. Not clumpy, great thinner style wand that I LOVE, causes zero irritation, makes my lashes look long and lush, very little smell, no smudging after hours of wear and comes off easily with micellar water and reusable wipes. Worth every penny, at least for me!

Best Mascara Ever
I just tried this out this morning. Its amazing!. It made my lashes look fuller and longer. I love the skinny brush, its easy for the bottom lashes as well. Great job Melissa!!
Been waiting for this forever!
Amazing! Even better than the regular mascara. I have hard to curl lashes, and this lifted and kept the curl all day. It doesn’t flake...no little particles floating on my contacts. And even with the super-lift it gives uncurlable lashes, it doesn’t feel hard or sticky. Washes off easily without leaving messy flakes/chunks everywhere. If you have hard to curl lashes, this is a must have. Plus, absolutely no eye irritation or redness even with contacts. My eyes thank you, HBG for this awesome magic mascara!
