Best $10 spent!
I ordered the color analysis and didn’t really expect anything other than some recommendations, but when my order arrived, there were samples of every kind! And the samples are generous enough for more than one use!

I thought I knew my colors, thought 'natural meant earth-tones. I was wrong. When I got my color analysis I ordered the suggested colors; I feel like my look is more cohesive. I am so glad I tried the personal color analysis and I recommend this to anyone who feels like they're missing something.

Before I purchased anything from this company, I did the Personal Color Analysis. The fact that they even offer such a service is incredible! It is worth every penny! You get to try a wide variety of products in colors/shades that are most likely to suit your complexion. Then when they send you the product samples, each one comes with a thorough explanation on how best to apply it, why they chose that for you, etc. It gives you a well-rounded idea of what their products are like and what colors will be best for you. This company is fabulous - safe, clean beauty products......AND without breaking the bank to get it.

I appreciated the chance to see what might work for cosmetic choices. I received all the samples with a special note of thanks and a detailed "How to use"! The samples were clearly labels and packaged neatly in a small drawstring bag. It's the personal touches that I value from a company. The products were great and with a discount I ordered full sizes of most!

Personal Color Analysis
Very well done! The color choices were flattering and gave me the very natural look I wanted. The products were provided in very sparing amounts but enough to get a good idea of how they perform. A little awkward to access in the small “sealy bags”. However, the bottom line is that I bought full size products that I know I will like and use!! Thank you Honeybee Gardens!!
Spot on color !
This is a bargain for sampling a new makeup or trying new colors. The color matching was spot on , sooo perfect. I was concerned because I thought some of the colors looked too dark but they are so beautiful .
Product Samples
I think the texture of the products I tried was excellent. The foundation, blush and lipsticks were well chosen for my complexion and coloring. The eye shadows, while beautiful, didn’t flatter me. Three of them had too much red/pink in them and that made my eyes look tired. The fourth color, Mojave, was a better choice but it was very lightly pigmented.
Personal Color Consultation
Like another reviewer, I've tried other color and make up consultations with almost unanimously disappointing results. Purchasing product online is usually iffy, but the results I've had with in person try-ons hasn't fared much better. I find many colors tend to look very orangey or brassy on me - even those that are supposed to be cool in tone. When I saw Honey Bee's online color consult option I thought for $10, what have I got to lose? The questionnaire allows you to give as much info on your make up style as you like, and although I was doubtful anyone at Honey Bee would actually read it, surprisingly the make up samples I received pretty much nailed my coloring and are extremely flattering. I particularly like that they sent samples of both mineral and liquid foundation. As someone pushing 65, I find I prefer liquid formulas, and don't like a heavy look. Like other reviewers, I would highly recommend Honey Bee's online color consultation. And the fact that they give you a $10 product credit pretty much makes it a zero risk purchase.
Great Way to Try New Products
To be honest, I didn't have high hopes. I've had recommendations at high end makeup stores and by brand makeup artists. All they've done is try to sell their latest releases.
I only use cruelty free products and HoneyBee Gardens is a new brand to me. I figured wasting $10 on a sample packet is better than wasting $80 on a makeup bag refresh.
When I opened my package I wasn't convinced. Then I tried everything out. WOW. I never would have tried shades like Bombshell, Darla and Seduction if they hadn't sent them.
Foundation: I rarely use more than a pore primer and a bit of concealer, If a foundation doesn't oxidize on me, it does melt into my skin the way I want it to. I found this formula hasn't settled into my undereye skin or pores. I will mainly use this to set my undereyes and even out areas that are a bit red.
They did a great job selecting shades. I wouldn't have picked the two they sent but they Supernatural was just right.
Blush: Oh my gosh, they sent the most beautiful blush (Rendezvous) that doesn't settle in into my pores. It looks so natural.
The shadows they sent were exactly what I needed to highlight my eyes. What I really love is how cohesive the color palette is. I can get many looks from the four shades. I don't need a large palette, I prefer something more edited. They are smooth and stay put.
And finally, the lipstick. Have you ever put on lip color only to have your lips start to burn? Do you hate fake, sickly scented products? I have and I do. The lipstick is comfortable with no discernible scent or taste.
Is the personalization service worth it? YES.
Difficult to get the samples out of the little bags
It's almost impossible to get the sample products out of these bags. Maybe you could come up with a cheap compact of some sort with wells that the samples could sit in. Even if you have to raise the price a couple of dollars it would be worth not having the aggravation of trying to get the product onto a brush in order to try them out. I haven't been able to get the powder blush or foundation out to try it because I don't have a brush that small.
Loved my personal color analysis!
The personal color analysis is a wonderful way to try some wonderful Honeybee Gardens cosmetic samples! I received generous sized samples of face powder, eye shadow, blush and lipsticks, and all were perfect for my style and usual makeup routine. If you ever wonder about the right lipstick shade or eye shadow color, this is an inexpensive and fun way to try some new ones on.

Beautiful products that can be worn everyday….I especially love the two lipsticks suggested…heirloom and San Francisco! Just enough color while still maintaining a “natural” look. NAILED IT
Another review said they really nailed it when it came to the colors, man did they! I'm trying to decide which foundation shade works best, and the blush is a tad darker than I'm used to, but I love it, especially for Fall. I was interested in the personal color analysis, as I am not confident in my skills to select makeup products for myself. I was so pleased to get a package in the mail a few days after completing the questions and uploading a photo. The selections I received were so great and exactly what I was looking for! When I received my color analysis, the packaging of all the samples were clearly labeled. The small sample brush was helpful. Trying out the samples, I became amazed that the foundations were BOTH a really close match to my skin tone. And just from a selfie! The eye shadows and lipstick samples are colorful, but subtle when applied. I didn’t feel like I was wearing anything...just how I need it! will be placing an order as this is the makeup for me! Pretty much spot on on almost everything. Found a couple lipstick shades, eye shadow, foundation and blush that I haven't tried. Pretty much spot on. Only a couple miss. I'm glad I did it.

Was a little disappointed there was no information about the samples that were sent, specifically why each color was sent based on my analysis. It was a little difficult getting the powder out of the tiny plastic bags. Eyeshadow colors were not a good choice - didn’t look like I had anything on my eyes. All samples applied nicely. Still considering another purchase.

I am absolutely loving the samples that I received to match my skin complexion! I received to colors for the foundation and I love how my skin feels using them! Lost powder foundations dry my skin out and so far after 4 days use, my skin feels amazing! Thank for such great products!

I like the idea of the personal color analysis and trying the products! So, for the eyeshadows: I liked-"Cameo," & "Fresco." But, I have alot of colors already like "Fresco."- I liked the formulation of the eyeshadows, I found "Chateau," & "Coco Loco," too
dark for my taste even as a crease shade. I will eventually purchase "Cameo." For the blush I liked the formulation, the color was "Eurphoria."-I found the color too bright for me. The Mineral Foundation Powders:-(you sent me Supernatural & Luminous). I liked the darker one "Luminous,"-it was the best match and I will eventually purchase it. For the lipsticks you sent me-(Swizzle, San Francisco, and Heirloom). I loved the wear and formula of the lipsticks,-but I wish you had more nude, plum, and more shades. Of the shades "Heirloom," was my favorite, "San Francisco," was a bit to white and sparkly on me, and "Swizzle,"-was too tan on me. As a whole, I liked the quality of the products, price, and what you are doing with your line!-I definitely will purchase some things in the future!-I say keep doing what you are doing we need more stuff like this on the market!

I have been struggling to find the right color of foundation for my face. I sent a picture and filled out the questions and they totally nailed it. My only complaint is I fell so in love with the mineral powder and I ran out way too fast. It was love upon first application. I will be ordering full sizes ASAP.
Beautiful samples, great packaging and almost perfect choices
I love receiving the Personal Color Analysis; it felt like a personal gift. The foundation and blush were perfect and I plan to order the full size. The eyeshadows were all in a slightly more mauve/purple than I prefer with my warmer skin tones, but they could work if I liked a smokier look. I will probably order more eye samples later. The lipsticks are beautiful. I am impressed with your customer service and your products!
Wonderful Analysis
I've been wanting new makeup and I wasn't sure what would best suit my coloring and style. Honeybee Garden's personal analysis was easy and spot on. When the products arrived I was so pleased.

This service is AMAZING! Years ago, I remember seeing a photograph of Julia Roberts, and thinking how naturally gorgeous she was (and she is), but then learned that Bobbi Brown had created some custom makeup for her - lip and eye colors, especially.
